Media 100 8.2.2 and Tiger 10.4.2

Does not work on a G5. See my posts below, “drive problems”. After calling M100 tech support, I had to go back to Panther 10.3.9 and QT 6.5. Tiger certainly created a very frustrating experience. Like others have said in this forum, “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it!”

Ya I’m using a G4 dual 1.42. I heard some folks may have got it to work.

I’ve been running it on a G4/733, no problems.

So I guess its more of an issue for Tiger and the G5s.

I’ve been using Tiger on a G4 dual 1.42 for awhile now and its been working great. I’ve had to do a couple of reinstalls due to issues with other programs but, its all working fine now.

Did you do a “clean” install or upgrade?

I did a clean install to try to avoid any problems.

I have been running 8.2.2 on tiger for about 1 month and it seems to be more stable than under panther…

system : duel 1.24 g4 2 gb ram 8.2.2 240 gb internal raid external 80gb firewire drive…
