  • How do get rid of the weird in/out point on timeline?

    Hi,

Could anyone tell me how to get rid of the large in/out points as seen in the screenshot image? (the thick blue points marked UNDER the time ruler)

I don’t know how I got them but it suddenly appeared at one point, and I’d like to remove them because once I export a file, it will export the range set by the weird, large in/out points rather than the area that I set with normal, thin in/out points.

    I’d appreciate some help.
    Thanks!

That’s the work area bar. I don’t know why it’s still in as the In-Out selection really replaced that from back in the day.

You can still have in and out points with the work area bar.
You cannot render in to out.

Just right-click on them and select “Clear In and Out” from the menu.

Work Area Bar is separate from in/out points.
Newer versions of PPro do not have the Work Area Bar active, by default. You need to make it active on your timeline, or in the case of the OP, deactivate it.
