Hi this is my first time doing a 4k sequence. I have 4k and 1080p footage. I actually started in a 1080p sequence, then client said they require it in 4k. I tried duplicating the sequence and changing the settings to 4k, and I tried making a new 4k sequence and copying the edit into that.

Both resulted with a bright rectangle center frame, like the exposure is cranked up in a rectangle shape. I assumed it was some kind of 1080p crop guide, but even when exported it’s there. I have a feeling it’s a simple fix, but not knowing what it is, I don’t know what to search for.

It’s not allowing me to upload a screenshot, sorry. Thanks for your help.

It might be an improperly sized adjustment layer or mask.

You sir….are correct. I didn’t scale the adjustment layer. Dumb oversight. Thank you!

Everyone has done it. If they haven’t then they’re not really trying.
