  Super Yellow Footage Disaster. H.E.L.P.

  Hello Community!

  It is my first-time post to the community because usually, I find answers to what I am looking for, however this time I got a huge problem. 

  To Premiere and Color Correction geeks out there, this is for you!

  I shot a 30 min footage, and the lighting was terrible (YELLOW YELLOW YELLOW). I did a small test first and color corrected in Premiere and it was fine. However, the lighting turned out much more yellow than I thought and I can’t get to fix it! 

  I included screenshots of the original footage, plus my failed attempts at fixing it. But I still can’t get the right white balance, the right exposure, and the film turns grainy and low resolution. I watched everything available about this, however, no one had footage that is as yellow and dark as mine. I played around with white balance, curves, color shadows highlights and midtones… nothing seems to work.

  Another problem is the screen behind me, but I think (hope) I can fix that with chroma key…

  Is there a way to save my footage?

  and 3d white balance like here.

  track 1 – global hue adjustment
  track 2- duplicate video track, track key luma with hue adjustment to fix just highlights
  track 3- duplicate video track as guide layer for track 2 hue
  track 4 – global 3-D white balance

  you can use hue v hue or track the face separately for more tweaking
  any grain left over, use neatvideo.

  Thank you so much Chris for your reply.
  Actually, I’m a beginner so I got stuck at track 2…and even the video was not easy for me to follow.
  I tried playing around with Hue vs Sat and it got much better (check below)
  I know it still needs tweaking, any further simple things I can work on?

  hue v sat? fascinating… it must have had too much chroma in certain hues.
  there’s more than one way to skin a cat in this one, good job.
  btw. did my white balance video help?
