    Hi there,

We’ve got a team of six producers editing on Premiere Pro across a shared network storage. Our storage is basically broken up into several “drives”, of which five or so have compiled stock footage from different projects we have work on in the past and we plan to keep this footage on file for five-seven years. However, this causes issues when we are trying to consolidate projects. We are looking at a way of consolidating projects which rely heavily on this stock footage from these separate “drives” but we don’t want duplication on our storage through the Project Manager’s copy or transcode options. Is there any plugins or scripts out there that can basically tell Project Manager to ignore certain storage locations when it’s consolidating projects so that the archived project can just relink to the stock footage when it’s restored?

    It’s a complicated one I know.
    Cheers,

T’would have been a sad thing,
Had he died in the Spring.
But he didn’t – he died in the fall.
