    Hello!
I am looking for a way to make a 3D jewel case that contains 2 cds. I want to animate this jewel case and add lights and so on. I have used the earlier great invigorator tutorial that I found here, but I have no idea how to make 2cds that flips in to the case. Help, please!

Do you have the 3d model in place? If not, first start creating that in Illustrator and then bring it into AE using the Zaxwerks plugin.

    Hey Pontus,

I have a 3D CD Jewel case project on my site (https://www.nyc-visual.com) that may help you out.

To make it to a double jewel case you would need to duplicate a couple of elements and place them accordingly.
Let us know if you get stuck.

BTW what tutorial are you referring to? I don’t know of any at the Cow involving a 3D CD Jewel case only examples from Filip Vandueren (A great Artist!)or me.

    Salut.

Thanks for the help. i was refering to your projekt, Serge, and my problem is to make the piece of the jewel case (the one that the cd lands on) flip and make two cds land ond each side. Is it just to duplicate that piece? I’ll have to try a bit more…
    Cheers

Hi, your jewelcase project is very great Serge, but I do need some more help. I have duplicated the layers in where the cd i supposed to be. But I need to change the rotation axis point, the one that is called Pivot in the project. I’m a bit lost here. Help please?
