Hello. I’m using Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 I know it’s an older version. I’ve been working on a film project and was doing some color grading on it. My computer crashes after I finished rendering some clips. After the crash I noticed that most of my assets were not linked up to premiere. I tried linking up the files and saving them but they don’t work, except the audio would work after re-linking it. I also have been using After Effects with this project as well and they aren’t linking up as well. I checked After Effects and it won’t up the project there. I got a message stating (Error missing data file
( 33 :: 4 ) ). I checked my auto saves and I can’t find any that are dated before the crash for some reason and the ones I do have don’t work. I don’t know what to do. Is there away to fix a project file or something? Would opening it in Adobe CC help fix this serious problem? I really need help here. Please

Kyle, we need a lot more information to start. Take a look at my signature; it’ll clue you in on information folks will need to help with this.

I encourage you to take your info and put it in your signature. CS6 is fading fast in the rear view mirror. You may find yourself with greater and greater challenges in the near future.

BTW, if you were using dynamic linking in CS6 between PPro and AE – man, you are brave. It works – until it doesn’t.

    System:
    Dell Precision T7600 (x2)
    Win 7 64-bit
    32GB RAM
Adobe CC 2017.1 (as of 8/2017)
    256GB SSD system drive
4 internal media drives RAID 5
Typically cutting short form from UHD MP4, HD MP4, and HD P2 MXF.
