  Caption: mandarin text issue

  I need to put Chinese captions on a video but the thickness is all messed up in Premiere. It’s fine in AE and LibreOffice, just not Premiere (see images below). I also updated from PR 2018 to 2019, to see if it helped, it did not. Now I’m moving my project from windows to mac, to see if that helps.

  Update: I switched to my mac laptop and it worked. If anyone has insight on how to fix it in windows, I’m still keen to find out what happened!
