Title fade transition look like random ripples in a pond
Dear friends,
I am trying to make a title transition somewhat similar with this https://youtu.be/rhUGwwhFJSQ , but more fluidical like for example the ripples on the event horizon of stargate https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4udF4Nr2hJc.
Any help is greatly appreciated, many thanx

That would be better achieved in After Effects. You can use a smooth fractal noise as a matte, animating the levels or threshold so it goes from black to white through a ripple-like effect. Then you could use the same noise for displacement mapping or use turbulent displacement to give it some water-like warping.
