  varying the tracks every 24 hours

  there are 30 tracks in the project, one for every day of the month, each with some clips/images.
  as mentioned, every 24 hours the program should change to the next track and display the clips on that track only.
  can that be done?

  No. Sounds like you might want some kind of presentation software.
