  Generic Error Importing AAF files from Avid in Premiere Pro

  Hi –

  I am using Premiere Pro CC 2018 (Windows) to bring over a project from Avid and I keep getting:

  Error Message: The importer reported a generic error.

  Grateful for any workarounds/ideas/insight.

  You’ll need to use Resolve as a go-between. AAF to REsolve, XML out to Premiere. There is no direct route, sorry
