  Adding a marker in clip is delayed

  Hello!
  Intermediate Premiere user here. When I try to add a marker in a clip the marker is added but it’s a good 3-4 seconds behind the playhead itself. And if the playhead is close to the beginning of a clip it (within that 3-4 second range,) it won’t appear. Anyone know what might be causing this? Thanks all!

  Does your clip frame rate match your sequence frame rate?

  They match yes! Both 29.97 fps.

  Then I’ll say, I’m not sure what could be causing that.
  I’m not sure if that is something trashing prefs would help. Possibly. Would be worth a shot anyway.
