  Premiere pro and NAS

  I am wondering what network speed is the minimum for premiere to be able to work on HD timelines and the footage is on the NAS?

  The workflow what i think would be ideal, if I run Premiere pro cc 2018 and I am importing the footages from the NAS, and export it back to the NAS when I am done.

  as far as i know officially adobe supports the teamwork as network workflow, that only comes with enterprise license, however I do not want to create team projects, just be able to import and export my footages to the NAS.

  Unfortunately network speeds is far too simplistic to go by. Depends on how many concurrent connections you plan to have, what type of media, whether this is just mainly editing or also heavy rendering/ingest/export while you edit.

  I work at a facility with a Team account. We have 7 workstations connected to a 10GigE QNAP NAS via a switch. HD and 4K media. All media and projects are on the NAS, but cache files are local.
