Forcing timecode into a clip
Hi guys im relinking a movie in and i have encountered with this problems
The clips where recorder in 4k but de director made proxies of these clips to 1080 so he could able to edit the timeline on his mac, the thing is
he used a software for creating the clips and the rendered 1080 clips have 2sec of black video before the clip starts so the timecode is set to when it should be 0,
so when i relink the clip to the 4k material it goes out of sync with the audio.
Is there a way i can force the timecode of the clips starts at 00:00:19:09?Images below for explanation
Both clips are the same one,one converted and the other native but their lenght is different due to the freemake clip

Not sure if I understand you correctly.
Do you mean the clips are always two seconds early?
In that case, QTchange can shift the TC (in batch)Another option, if the clips are all 00:00:02:00, you might get lucky by stripping the TC track altogether.
(I know for sure FCP relinks based on relative frame count IF TC is not available. You might try that with Premiere as well.
