  Premiere Pro: project stops rendering at linked comp?

  So I’m trying to render a project but it keeps getting stuck at 16% while the time remaining goes up to 3 hrs. I investigated and it turns out it stops at the first linked composition I imported from After Effects. I really don’t want to render out the AE segment separately and then import that because I don’t want a drastic drop in quality. Is there any way to bypass this? I’m using PP CC 2017.

  There’s a drastic drop in quality when you render AE comps? What settings are you using? Have you tried ProRes or DNxHD or some other high quality output?
  Just render out your AE comp to ProRes, drop it on our Sequence, and good to go!

  Resolution?
  Is it 1:1 with the Premiere comp?
  Never in my experience, I have ever seen a drop in quality going from AE to Premiere.

  Its usually the other way around 🙂
