  Sequence In/Out points deleted when using insert/overwrite shortcuts

  Hello, I’m trying to speed up my editing as I work on a live show. Throughout my editing I use an In/Out point on the sequence of a minute and a half which I export from.

  I’ve been trying to switch to using shortcuts instead of dragging, and it works almost perfectly except for importing clips. No matter which option I use on the Fit Clip dialogue box, it deletes the in/out points on my sequence. Is there a way or option I can use to add the clips using the shortcuts without deleting the in/out points on the timeline?
