OK, I have a 10-year old project sitting on a SATA drive that I would like to open in CC.

It tells me: This project was saved in a version prior to PPro CS3 and cannot be opened on a Mac.

Am I just plain out of luck and time on this??

    Thanks, Jim in Florida

Here are the first few lines of the .prproj file —

Before CS3, PPro (versions 1, 1.5 and 2.0) was PC (Windows) only, which could explain the error message you got.

If you need the versions like CS6 there are some likely being sold on Ebay cheap, and at the worse, maybe there are some Windows folks here that if you sent them the files they could open and then save them on CS6 and maybe even further. I no longer have it on my machine, though I do have the disks. Not sure if I have the Windows or Mac version. I used both back then.
