  Crashing, can’t figure out why

  Apologies if this is self evident but am a newbie on Premiere.

  Using a HP Zbook laptop, i7 chip, windows 10, 12GB RAM. Imported/organized bins (about 40GB of video). Video was shot with pro-sumer camera, .mts files.

  Clips all loaded but when use premiere, just works for minute, then just won’t work/crashes. Video card is AMD W4190 and seems like should work.

  Can not figure out why not working. Do know is not capable of Mercury Playback Engine on this laptop.

  Appreciate any thoughts/advice.

  Is the footage stored on the C: drive, along with the OS and apps, or on a separate drive? Having it on the same drive as the OS, apps, and your project is a recipe for unhappiness.

  Win 7 64-bit
  32GB RAM
  Adobe CC 2017.1 (as of 8/2017)
  256GB SSD system drive
  4 internal media drives RAID 5
  Typically cutting short form from UHD MP4, HD MP4, and HD P2 MXF.
