Hi there. Is there an easy way to elliminate the gamma shift rendering out from AE7 in DVCPRO HD to import to FCP? For now I’m just doing color correction in FCP, but that’s symptomatic treatment. Any way to eliminate the shift from happening / adjust the YUV – RGB interpretation for AE7?
Maybe another workflow like rendering out of FCP with a RGB codec (if FCP will do a more accurate conversion)? Any advice out there in the herd?

i have an answer you just won’t like it. Render out to the animation codec, bring that into FCP, then have FCP transcode the footage in your timeline.
