the shows we receive are NDF and we have to deliver our promos NDF.

SHould we modify the clips once in PPro or just edit them in the DF timeline?

ANy other issues you guys can think of?

If you need to deliver the promos as NDF, why are you using a DF timeline? Use NDF all the way.

And Dave, anything under a min you can use an NDF timeline and be time accurate.

Shows come in NDF from production companies.
We have to deliver the promos to the network in DF.

[Dave LaRonde] “Who uses NDF for program-length material? That’s just weird.

Thanks for pointing this out. It made me look at the shows and you’re right, 99% come in DF.
So why did we ever delivered NDF?…. Mistery because, correct me if I am wrong, but DF is pretty much the norm for broadcast right?
