  Premiere Add-on failed to install…. “Escalated Privileges”

  What I’m trying to do:
  (Attempting to install an Add-on called Screenlight marker.
  I’m aiming to streamline my marker workflow by importing notes in a CSV files with “Screenlight Marker”.)

  The problem:
  “The Add-on failed to install: It requires escalated privileges, click here for more information and try again.”

  The solution?:
  Adobe forums aren’t helping. I’m not being prompted with a promised pop up window( in any browser ) when attempting to install this. So I don’t see how I can approve the installation and thus add the plugin…

  Any and all suggestions are welcome. Thank you!
