Do you have any Photoshop effects applied to any layers? I don’t believe those will translate in Premiere Pro.

Do you have any layers/elements/files that are not 8-bit RGB? If you have, for example, and elements with a CMYK colorspace, they won’t make the transition.

These are the first two things I would check.

    System:
    Dell Precision T7600 (x2)
    Win 7 64-bit
    32GB RAM
Adobe CC 2015.02 (as of 6/2016)
    256GB SSD system drive
4 internal media drives RAID 5
Typically cutting short form from HD MP4 and P2 MXF.

Hi, thanks i checked – the image is 8 bit and RGB. There are no effects applied to layers. Still comes out
    black in premiere..

What are your sequence settings and what are the dimensions of this psd file?

    Hi
When I go into premiere pro cc
    into New: New photoshop file
a file with the same settings (whatever settings i have chosen) is automatically
made in photoshop. However the although the two are linked the image in premiere pro is black.
