Video exports from premier pro cc in very low quality
Hello,
I’ve been trying to export my video for the past week and I’ve tried so many different presets but the out come is always the same- a low quality video, lots of noise, grain flickering and I’m really at a loss…
here is the info:
I shot using multiple formats
Mark 4d fps 29. 97
Drone – 4K 50fps
Animation which is 23.98 fps
I know all these different format mean that I will have to deal with some loss of quality.
The video will be viewed on a lg 43in uhdtv.
Up to now I exported using different variations of these presets:
1080by 1920
H.264
Custom
Profile high
Level 5.1
Vbr 2 pass
Played around with target and maximum bit rate
Sequence settings are 29.97 frame rate
What was hurt the most is the 4K drone footage and the animation. Both have so much noise. The original footage is so sharp and crisp it’s very frustrating to see it after the export. I know there’s going to be a down grade when exporting to 1080 but I just can’t believe it’s so much. It almost looks like an online YouTube clip. the animation is the same, looks very noisy.
Looking forward to some help if anyone has any ideas! I’m going a little insane!

Have you tried High Profile 4.2? And are you using the “Use Maximum Render Quality” checkbox checked? I’ve had better luck not checking that.
Use something like the Vimeo HD 1080P preset as a starting point.
It should look good!

Don’t use “Max Render Quality” unless you scaling some footage up or down.
What is you minimum/maximum bandwidth in your render settings?
You are taking your 4K footage down to 1920×1080. If you are scaling that footage to fit 1920×1080, it is a quarter the size of your original 4K footage, so you will certainly lose some fine detail.
