  Audio distortion on premiere CC render out

  When doing a quicktime render out from premiere (I have the latest version) I’m getting audio distortion on loud scenes such as gunshots, etc. This has only starting happen in the last month.

  My settings for audio are uncompressed 48k 24 bit.

  Any help would be great.

  The source audio was not distorted. The source audio level at the loud sections was around -1 DBFS.

  Have you made any changes to your monitoring that coincides with you noticing the distortion? Any changes anywhere in the signal chain?

  Win 7 64-bit
  32GB RAM
  Adobe CC 2015.02 (as of 6/2016)
  256GB SSD system drive
  4 internal media drives RAID 5
  Typically cutting short form from HD MP4 and P2 MXF.
