  • Changing clips to vertical video (9:16)

Hi, I’m shooting material to a 9:16 video. I’m using RED Epic MX in 90deg angle.

When I’m importing clips to Premiere CC 17. I have to drag all the clips (recorded in 16:9) to a 9:16 timeline and use the rotation tool to make them look correct. Is there any faster way to change the clip attributes to be in the correct format also when previewing?

    Thanks!

First, I have to ask. Do you actually need 9:16? Most of the live content I see is rotated on site and actually plays in 16:9.

Drop the Transform effect (set rotation) on the masterclips.
