  when importing aiff audio in 2017 it appear on track 7 – how to fix this

  Hello,
  I have imported some aiff files into APP 2017 and they are appearing in track 7. I am am as yet unable to move them to the track I want. Any insight on this??

  If it creates a new track then it doesn’t match the configuration of the other tracks eg. you can’t put a mono track on a stereo track so it’ll have to create a new mono track.
