  Premiere Pro overlap all video files by one second

  I have a client who gave me a ton of video files that the end of each clip have the first second of the next clip in it (I think the camera they used did this). Is there a way to take the next clip and automatically overlay it onto the last second of the previous clip? This would save a bunch of time.

  Nope. There is no way to do this. You could import all the clips onto one timeline so they join seamlessly together when you start editing them, but there’s no way to automatically cut a second from one clip and sew it onto the end of another.

  if i was editing it, i would use the rolling edit tool [N]. but if you wanted perfectly redone clips in the project bin, an AE script combining them all then magnum edit detector splitting to separate layers would be better suited for this task.
