    Hi guys.

Yeasterday I have updated my premiere to 2017.0.1. version.
Now I am struggling with a problem about creating shortcuts for jumps between source panel window and timeline panel window.
Previous versions of application does support this shortcuts. But in this version I can’t figure it out.
Did you have same issue, have any solution to this please?

Thank you for any kind of help.

I have been struggling with this issue as well. I used to be able to jump from source panel (shift + 2) to timeline panel (shift + 3) but it seems that toggling to the timeline panel using a keyboard shortcut isn’t even an option when you try to create custom keyboard shortcuts. I’m wondering if it was overlooked during the update? Please let me know if you find any solution or workaround. Thank you!

    Hi Brian,

Disregard my first comment. I found the answer in another post. You have to have all of your timelines closed before assigning a keyboard shortcut. But once I did that, I was able to assign it again. I’m not sure I understand why, but it worked, and I was able to assign (shift + 3) to my timeline again. Hallelujah!

    That’s great Spencer!
This behaviour is truly strange but somehow this solution worked for me too.
So problem solved. Thank you very much. ☺

Hi, I am trying to assign Shift+1 to focus on the project window and the customization window is refusing the change. The numeric key is available but will not take.

    Thoughts?

(And yes, this happened after the requisite update needed to open a co-workers file.)
