Apply an effect with a hotkey
Hi guys,
I would like a solution for applying an effect to a clip with a single click.
It can be either a hotkey that maps a certain letter or a combination of multiple hotkeys.More specific info:
I would like to be able to press a button and to have a selected clip “normalized all peaks to” a certain value.Thanks in advance, what a wonderful forum 🙂

ctrl+v works for me. save preset and/or copy to ram with ctrl+c, then ctrl+v. you could even map with autohotkey so it would be one key.
normalized all peaks? sound? audition has a RMS normalizer that you can do in large batches. -

That means I need to navigate to the specific preset and select it beforehand.
I want to be able to do it all in one click.I will clarify a bit more:
I have certain audio values that I use for music and human voice. Many times the music is in the background so it should be quite low in volume but you can still hear it. As soon as the person stop speaking the music kicks in to full volume.Now this edits are very frequent in a single project, which means there is a lot of room for automation.
I don’t like to work with keyframe for this kind of task because it’s not accurate enough.So ideally I will be able to do normalize all peaks to X value in one click, on a selected clip.

Thanks for introducing me with the technical term.
While I can see the advantage of this automated tool, at the moment I do like to be able to do it manually inside PP, but with the simplicity of some kind of a one-click automation.
Any idea will be highly appreciated + like as always 🙂
