I believe a timeline can be 24 hours max because that’s the amount of time you can express with a standard timecode.

Hi Dave

I will be implementing it over 1 hour sections at a time.

Just doing that 50 times I figured there must be a way to implement it once and then copy the format into the next video.

The purpose is to re-show CCTV footage at real time as if the filming was happening right there and then.

Hi Dave,

I used your technique:

Sync up 2 hour-long clips; lock the bottom clip.
Every 30 seconds split the top clip with the razor tool
Delete every other section of the top clip.

THEN
I copied and pasted the split, top clip over the top of my next video and whilst it was still selected pressed delete.

This made all the splits instantaneously!
