  Text from title turns bold/fuzzy in preview and export

  Hi guys,

  I’ve been having a strange problem.
  A customer asked me to place translated text in an existing video.
  The text is the same as the original in the title viewer, but whenever I go to my preview screen or export, it suddenly becomes blurry/bold.
  I’ve had issues with premiere titles making text fuzzy before so I normally create the text in Illustrator and then import it in Premiere.
  I would love it if someone knew how to solve this.

  

  As you can see in the image, the text is clearly different although they are the same title.
  sizes are also exactly the same

  Sequence settings:
  Progressive
  res: 590×294 (I think this might be the cause, but the customer wants to keep it like this and it shouldn’t matter…)
  Framerate: 25fps
  preview quality: full

  You haven’t given us the most important information from your sequence settings, i.e. the preview files codec.

  Im having the exact same issue.

  My preview files codec are in I-Frame MPEG which seems impossible to change..
  In my sequence settings im using the DSLR preset (1920×1080, 23.976)

  I tried creating titles with different workflows but the problem remains.. any suggestion?

  Change both sequence settings and preview files to ProRes 422… your funky text files will be a thing of the past.
