Updated premiere.. now exceptionally slow render & export times?
Looking for general advice on this.
Ive been using pp5.5 for a few years, and eventually decided to upgrade to 6, although i cant remember why now! Rendering always took a chunk of time, so im not bothered about that- but to export! Its taking 12 hours for files that on 5.5 would take 30 minutes.
Initially I put it down to the system being too old- but i have a new macbook so I tried it out with cs6.. same issue- taking forever to spit out the files.
Are there any general tips or pointers on this? I could easily have setup 5.5 before and tinkered with it for a better workflow, but its so far back I cant remember.
Any help much appreciated!

System specs? Storage specs? What are you doing? With what kind of footage? What effects do you have? What are you trying to export? What are your exact export settings?

Make sure Maximum Depth is turned off and Maximum Render Quality is turned off, unselected.
