Showing Waveform With Applied Effects?
Short version:
Is there a way to get the waveform in Premiere to represent the waveform WITH the effects you’ve applied?
Long version:
I edit a lot of audio for videos in Premiere. Lots of people talking. Sometimes someone has a lot of volume spikes with their P’s or other consonants, or just stray words that are too loud. I’ll use a few techniques to even this out, but often just a compressor or limiter does the trick. I could work faster if the actual waveform showed up because I could get a better idea of how much things are being evened out at a glance.
