    Hi,

Is there a way, in Premier Pro, to add a Marker to an original source clip so that it is there permanently in the project files?

I know you can do this in Final Cut but I haven’t figured it out in Premier yet and can’t seem to find the answer online. A very simple task that would help me lot.

    Cheers, Ashleigh

You can add a Marker when your clip is in the source window.

Hit “m” to add the maker or hit “mm” to add the marker with notes and other options. Then when the clip is used in the timeline it will retain the marker.
