  Export from Premiere Pro CS4 to Media Encoder going EXTREMELY slow.

  I do a video every week on my HP laptop with Win 8 Core I5. It had been working really smooth, but then one week the export just started taking forever.

  The video is tops 3min each week 720p, and what happens is it looks great in premiere, I render it, and everything looks and plays smooth. Then I go export to Media Encoder, it gets to Media Encoder – I hit start queue, then it says loading – for forever/hours. It didn’t do this previously. It would say loading for 10min and then export the file.

  Any tips or advice on getting it to export faster would be greatly appreciated.

  I’m having a similar issue. Rendering times with encoder are double what rendering times are for Premiere if I export directly.
  Anyone have any ideas?
