  Slow thumbnaills: is this normal?

  Is it normal for thumbmails in icon view or list view w/thumbnails checked to refresh rather slowly? I’m running P Pro CC 7.1 on the fastest, newest iMac with the fastest video/graphics card, 16gb ram, ssd.

  27″ iMac 2013, 3.5ghz i7, 16gb ram

  Same here on a Windows machine.
