    jeez I hope someone can help. ive reached the hairpulling point…

    In short, I have a sequence with a few video layers. The primary layer is a whole day edited down to 10minutes – lots of small clips on the timeline.

    I need to put a clock in the corner
    1) so, a new transparent video with a time code and cut it into lots of small pieces, calculate/guess the correct time and enter that as an offset – in each clip… That’ll take all day!! So obviously not.
    2) Add the timecode right on the first clip (cant crop it, so mask it?) apply look&feel, copy to next clip… Again ALL DAY METHOD

    So whats the right way (that gets the job done quickly)
    Thanks.

    ++ As we’re all here, i guess we’re not all there ++

    your transparent layer should be one clip spanning the entire sequence, not cut up.
    Apply effect to the transparent layer, Also, AE has more options for this.
