How to replace Video in a Shot when it was not shot with Green Screen or Locked Down
Hello –
I’m editing a documentary and need to replace some video in shots of TVs that were not shot with green screen or locked down. Ultimately, a job for a master effects person, but I want to use Adobe Premiere (or whichever part of Adobe CS6 is best suited for this), to do a rough replacement.
I’m an Avid & Final Cut editor, just learning Adobe, and will just do these shots there to import into Avid project.
Does any kind soul know the steps I would take to do this? I think it involves creating my own “fake” green screen, and imagine I’d also have to get Adobe to track the video image on the shot I’m replacing.
Any suggestions greatly appreciated.
Thanks so much & happy Friday!
