  Mass-Importing / Searching Metadata in Premiere Pro CC?

  I’m working on a project with +100 hours of footage and trying to search all of my metadata all at once. As far as I can tell, the only way to do this is to create a single master project with all of my clips. The problem is, when I try to import all the footage into a single project, the program always crashes. Does anyone have experience mass-importing into Premiere? Is there a limit to how much the program can take? Thanks so much!

  Hi Stephen,

  Did you have any progress with this? Any new developments?

  I was wondering the same thing as we’re starting to rely on Premiere CC for meta-dating more than 1,500 clips (and more coming). What kind of hardware do you have? I don’t think the software itself has a limit. Also there’s a difference if the 100 hours are in 600 clips or the 6,000.
