    Hello. Recently I installed Adobe premiere CS6. When I capture video from my HDR HC5 camcorder via Premiere, it saves it in mp3. Problem is in Premiere, not in camcorder, because it perfectly works with Premiere CS4 which I installed on my another computer. What Can I do? Thanks and sorry for my bad English.

    P.M. Don’t recommend me “Split” because It does not work on my Windows 7.

    How exactly are you capturing from HDR HC5 camcorder?

    I just connect it via Firewire, then I launch Premiere, I choose from tab section CAPTURE, then I choose HDV and there I go. This you wanted to know?

    Nearly all solutions are listed in this doc below.
    Most common solution is to set firewire driver to legacy.

    Bit odd HDV split does not work.
    Something wrong with the card or the driver?
