Neophyte Premiere CS6 question – can you apply an effect, example Warp Stabilizer, directly to a clip independent from the timeline or must it first be in the timeline?

    Cheers, Chris

    Hi Chris,

A clip must be in a Sequence before you can add effects to it. Once on the timeline, 3 ways to add an effect –

    1) drag effect onto clip

    2) select clip and drag effect to Effect panel

    3) select clip then double-click effect, is added to Effects (PC)
