  How To Create These Effects

  I’ve been noticing a lot of music videos are using these particular effects nowadays, and I’d be most grateful if someone could explain to me how they’re done.

  Example Effect 1 occurs at 0:03 – 0:10 and 1:31 – 1:43 even though it takes place throughout the entire course of the video.

  Example Effect 2 occurs at 0:26 – 0:28, 3:26 – 3:30, 6:02 – 6:08 and a few other spots.

  Timewarp, offset or reverse the same clip and set the opacity lower so it shows as a ghost image.
