  Premiere CS5 real time output to HDTV

  Hi all,

  I’m currently switching from fcp to Premiere CS5.
  My question is what are the options if I want to preview my edit in a HDTV??

  Can I use my gfx card hdmi out to connect to a HDTV hdmi in for preview?

  Do I need any external capture cards?

  No grafics card is sufficient.
  Go to Playback settings under the Output button in the Program monitor and set External Device to Monitor ….

  You need a proper Video i/o card from the likes of:

  AJA
  BMD
  Matrox
