  Field dominance

  I’m using PPro 1.5 still, and when the the matrox RTX100 card failed, I bought a canopus ADVC, re-installed Adobe minus matrox,and re-imported my project. But the effects (mainly mixes) in what I’d edited so far are jittery when played in real time.

  A colleague has found that my clips were captured in lower field but the project setting is upper field. I have tried reversing the field of some of the clips, which looked OK until rendered.

  I would like to preserve the edit incl. the effects; my question is,how,and then how can I continue? Can I upgrade it/use it in different programmes?

  Well actually its the other way around.
  Matrox clips are captured in upper field and the standard project setting is set to lower field.
  However you can make a new custom project.
  If I remember correct you can set the field to upper.
  Then import the old project into the new project to keep all the edits.
