  creating 4:1 footage

  Hi i am very new to premiere, and i apologize if the answer is so blatantly obvious, that u think i must be retarded. But ive been trying to figure this out for so long now…

  i cant change my output format to 1920:480, even though i created a custom projekt making it this size, and my work window is also this size…

  Hi Anders,

  If you scroll down further under the VIDEO tab, you should see the frame dimensions. They may be “locked together” with a chain link – you must unlink that when customizing the sizes.

  To add what Jeff said, you also need to use a codec that will allow that size. I don’t know much about DXV, so I can’t say that is the case or not. H.264 will do it.
