Importing PAL avchd 1080p25 from my HMC151E with sequence preset to fields (progressive scan) gives a red line in the timeline.
This can be fixed on a clip by clip basis by right clicking clip in project then modify clip/interpret footage and changing the button from Field order use field order from file to conform to no fields (progressive scan).
I need a fix as doing this with each and every clip is not time well spent.
Camera is confirmed as progressive, it would appear Premiere thinks the clips are interlaced but when you tell premiere it is progressive on a clip by clip basis premiere is happy and changes the red bar to yellow without rendering.
    Premiere Pro 5.5, thanks Ian

Select all the clips in the project panel and right click.
Go to modify/interprete footage and set the Field Order to progressive.

Many thanks, I never thought I could do that, it works, but as to why we need to do it at all is strange. Importing progressive with a progressive preset should not require that fudge.
