Hi, I am using an Imac now and CS5. I am rebuilding an older project that was started on Windows Premiere Pro. I would like to use the Bin structure that I already had created. When I pull an older Bin into Premiere CS5 I get a “generic error”. Is there a way to carryover the older Bins structure into the Mac Premiere CS5? I hope this is clear. Thanks

Not 100% sure, but if you save a project without any content in the older version and then open it in CS5 if should update and you should keep the bin structure. And if you don’t have the windows machine anymore, then you should be able to open any old project with the right bin structure and then let PP update it to CS5 and not link any of the media. You will have to clear out the icons in the bins but that should be simple. Then save the project as a tamplate project ready to use for your next project – open it and save it in the name of your new project. Hope this helps. Andrew
