  importing .aaf from Vegas7 to Premiere Pro

  Hello all,

  I’m trying to import a project from Vegas 7 to Premiere Pro CS5. Added complication is that the Vegas is on a pc and the PP is on a Mac. Saved the original as .aaf and opened a new project in PP, and tried to import the .aaf file.

  I got a file import failure message saying that the project was damaged and could not be opened. The project works just fine on Vegas, and I tried re-saving the project three times as .aaf

  Some of my media in Vegas was offline when I saved the project, but I didn’t think this should affect the outcome?

  any hints?
