Problems with ripple delete and audio keyframes not moving
Hello, i am finishing up a project and have about 5 seconds of blank space at the beginning.
I want to remove it.
However, no matter what i seem to try, whenever i move everything, the keyframes that i had set up in the audio portion (the only place i’ve used keyframes) stay where they were.
The audio moves but not the keyframes.I really don’t want to edit all of those keyframes again as it is a fairly big project.
Can anyone help?

There’s probably a better solution than this, but you could nest the sequence (create a new sequence, and drop the original sequence in the timeline). Than, ripple delete in the new sequence.

Your audio keyframes are probably set to track option instead of clip option.

Yes, you are right.
But, if i change it, all keyframes seem to disappear and i really don’t want to put them all in again. It is a lengthy project and is almost complete. I just want to take a few seconds off the beginning.Is there any way to keep them where they are and delete a few seconds in the very beginning of my timeline that you know of?
I really appreciate all the advice. this site is wonderful and i will try to contribute some answers where i can also.

Hi, Did you ever sort out the problem, why I ask I have a simular issue, whereby I need to insert another title at the beginning but the audio keyframes will not follow the timeline! 🙁

I’ve got the exact same problem. Doing some trimming but the audio keyframes refuse to move in tandem, a small problem with a big headache. Tried changing option to clip instead of timeframe but then I lose the ability to set keyframes.
