  problems capturing with cs4

  Hi,

  I just purchased a second hand panasonic nv-ds28 dv camera. I am trying to capture video into premiere cs4 or combustion, but it doesn´t recognize the camera. I am not sure if this is a problem with the drivers, as I could find none, or maybe it could be because my computer doesn´t have a firewire card, so I am using a firewire/usb cable instead. Any help would be very appreciated.

  You absolutely need to get a IEEE 1394 (i.Link/firewire) card. They’re cheap but necessary.

  You will also find links to many free tutorials in the PremiereProPedia that will quickly show you how things are done in Premiere Pro.
